Although the likelihood of experiencing this fault is low (approximately 0.01% of boilers are affected), we are taking proactive steps to ensure your safety. The concern involves the main heat exchanger component, where, under fault conditions, an excessive amount of air could become trapped, causing the boiler to overheat and potentially fail.
What we are doing about it
To mitigate any risks and maintain the reliability and safety of your heating system, we are implementing a mandatory safety upgrade. This upgrade involves installing an additional component to your boiler, which will significantly enhance its safety and performance. The process is straightforward and should take between 30-60 minutes to complete.
